Ken Mantell joined Marcus & Millichap after spending a decade founding and successfully building Echo Specialty Pharmacy, one of New York’s largest specialty healthcare businesses. He recently sold the Company to a private equity led consortium, but not before developing a passion and operating understanding of commercial real estate.
Mr. Mantell brings this irreplaceable value and firsthand experience as a business owner and operator to his clients as a trusted advisor. With a niche focus on the larger multifamily assets in the Brooklyn market, he spends the majority of his time at Marcus & Millichap underwriting investment properties and canvassing new business throughout Brooklyn.
Prior to Echo, Mr. Mantell was part of JPMorgan Chase’s Structured Credit Products group where he acted as a liaison to portfolio manager clients and the credit derivatives trading desk. Mr. Mantell has a business degree from Lehigh University, is a Brooklyn native, and has working knowledge of multiple languages. He has lived in Italy and Russia, and enjoys traveling, history, cooking, tennis and fishing.
