Keith attended the University of Georgia graduating in 1977 with a major in Real Estate and Urban Development.
Keith is a member in good standing with NAIOP and a former Director of the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association (HOLBA), an organization dedicated to raising the professional standards within the brokerage industry and nurturing the growth of those individuals who specialize in representing
tenants. These affiliations allows him to stay abreast of the latest developments in the commercial real estate industry. He is presently pursuing a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.
Keith was a Big Brother for eight years in the Houston Chapter of Big Brothers and Sisters. Additionally, he coached baseball for Braes Bayou Little League. Keith is a member of Toastmasters International, an organization dedicated to creating effective communication, listening and leadership skills among its members. He has served as Vice President of Public Relations, Treasurer, as well as
President for Daybreakers Toastmasters Club; one of Houston’s most distinguished and recognized Toastmasters clubs. Keith also has served as a Toastmaster Area Governor for Houston’s District 56.
Keith is an active member and current Lay Leader of Outback Texas (Outback America), an organization dedicated to enriching and renewing family relationships for both husband/wives and parent/teens.

Beginning in 1994, he was named “Rookie of the Year” In the Houston office of Grubb & Ellis. Through 2014 Keith was a Top Ten Advisor for 16 out of 19 years for the Grubb & Ellis and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's local office. In addition, in 2001, 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2012 Keith was recognized as a "Circle of Excellence" winner, a designation given each year to the Grubb & Ellis' Top 100 Advisors across the USA. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Keith was employed with a local boutique real estate firm where he was Top Producer for two consecutive years in 1991 and 1992. At Grubb & Ellis' “Houston Real Estate Forecast Breakfast”, Keith often spoke on the State of the Houston Office Market. Additionally, Keith was recognized by the Houston Business Journal in 2001, 2005 and 2009 as a “Heavy Hitter” in the Houston Commercial Real Estate industry.
