Overview

Originally from upstate New York, Josh Relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend Loyola Marymount University.  Josh earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2004 and upon graduation, began an internship with Sanctuary Records in Hollywood.  He later joined ICM Partners and worked closely with two high-profile talent agents.  After three years and despite the glamour of working in the entertainment industry, Josh opted to begin a career in sales with the goal of ultimately establishing himself as a foremost real estate professional.

Josh transitioned to sales in 2006 by joining Nick Alexander BMW & MINI in Downtown Los Angeles.  He quickly realized tremendous success and from 2007 to 2011, was the top sales agent internationally for the entire MINI Cooper brand.

In 2012, Josh accepted a position with Marcus & Millichap and by 2013 he was one of the company’s top producers nationwide.  In his first year with Marcus & Millichap, Josh was recognized with the prestigious Pace Setter award and was named Rookie of the Year.  Most notably, Josh was one of the firm’s few agents to earn a Sales Recognition plaque in his first year.

Focusing on and analyzing the 1031 exchange process, Joshua Ross has closed more than 14 separate transactions his first 12 months with the firm, the majority of which have been multifamily properties located in and around the Miracle Mile and Korea Town submarkets of Los Angeles. Josh has demonstrated an innate ability to successfully utilize his clients’ income from existing assets to reposition them in properties that make more sense on an individual basis.  Josh researches and locates larger multifamily properties that will potentially generate more income or national net leased assets that offer fewer management responsibilities.

Joshua is directly involved in every step of the process of selling and/or exchanging commercial real estate for his clients.  This begins with preparing detailed evaluations and marketing packages, qualifying earnest and able buyers, planning and coordinating all inspections, introducing financing options, and reviewing all documentation, all while maintaining constant contact with his clients through the close of escrow.  He works closely with his exchange clients from the beginning by actively searching for and underwriting possible exchange possibilities to ensure a smooth and seamless exchange.

Josh and his wife, Sinta, enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, attending sporting events (go Cowboys!), and spending time with family and friends.
