Joshua Johnson is an Associate in the Palo Alto office specializing in investment sales of retail and office properties. Josh joined Marcus & Millichap in 2013 after working as a commercial real estate appraiser in Silicon Valley for ten years. He works with Kirk Trammell and David Cutler to assist clients in the acquisition and disposition of retail, office, industrial, land, and triple net properties in Northern California.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Josh worked at CBRE as a commercial real estate appraiser. Josh has experience valuing a wide range of property types throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including: retail, office, industrial, R&D, market-rate and affordable multi-family housing, land, residential subdivisions, self-storage, and hotels. During his time as an appraiser, he analyzed properties in all stages of the development cycle and has valued raw land, proposed developments, non-stabilized assets, stabilized properties, and redevelopment and repositioning opportunities. Josh’s comprehension of complex valuation issues and ability to analyze properties across the development spectrum allows his clients to make well-informed decisions.
