Overview

James Medefind is a multi-tenant and single-tenant retail specialist who focuses his attention on assets along the west coast of Florida.  As a senior agent leading a team of five high performance retail agents, he is effective in tracking and managing transactions across 10 counties, in a market of more than 4,000 shopping centers and credit quality net-leased assets.
 
Mr. Medefind was a top-producing retail broker for Marcus & Millichap's Tampa office in 2013 and 2014, and has built a brand with brokers and principals as the “go-to” guy for retail properties.   He has made his niche in the $1 million to $10 million price range on assets marketed to private and professional investors. As a market expert, Mr. Medefind has often been quoted by The Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay Times, The Real Deal, and the Tampa Bay News Wire.  

Mr. Medefind has valued and transacted over $200,000,000 worth of shopping centers and is known for his commitment to bringing investors a minimum of three offers within the first 45 days of marketing a property.   He believes that obtaining multiple offers in a short period of time is key to ensuring that his clients receive the maximum value for their asset and also provides them maximum leverage throughout the transaction.

James is an avid supporter and volunteer for Big Brothers, Big Sisters, The Clearwater Community Sailing Center, Junior Achievement, Operation Lotus and Metropolitan Ministries.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Medefind worked as a consultant to federal, state, and local government agencies in the acquisition of real estate throughout the Midwest United States.
