Overview

Douglas K. Mandel is a Senior Vice President in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale offices of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. He is also Senior Director of the firm’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division and the National Office and Industrial Properties Group (NOIPG). Mr. Mandel focuses exclusively on investment property sales, specifically mid-market and institutional assets throughout the Southeast. Since joining the firm in 2004, he has closed in excess of $1.45 billion in sales.  Doug has consistently ranked among Marcus & Millichap’s top agents nationally and was the #1 office and industrial agent nationally in 2012, 2013 and 2015. Mr. Mandel represents a wide array of investors, including high net-worth private investors, developers, institutions, publicly traded REIT’s, private equity funds, offshore investors and syndicates.

Mr. Mandel has received numerous awards for his accomplishments in the commercial real estate industry. In 2015, Doug was recognized as Top US Office Sales Broker by Real Estate Forum, and in 2014, he is the winner of the Industrial Deal of the Year Award for NAIOP. He is the 2013 winner of the Daily Business Review’s Top Dealmaker of the Year Award, named 2013 Office Broker of the Year by the Miami Chamber of Commerce, and was a 2013 finalist for NAIOP’s Office Broker of the Year and Office Deal of the Year Awards. He was also a 2012 finalist for Industrial Sale of the Year Award from NAIOP and a 2012 finalist for South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. He’s earned ten consecutive CoStar Power Broker Awards from 2005 through 2014, was a 2009 finalist for the Office Deal of the Year Award from NAIOP, and was a 2008 finalist for the South Florida NAIOP Office Broker of the Year Award.
