Ben Yelm, based in Charleston, SC, focuses on the analysis and disposition of shopping centers and net-leased properties in the Carolinas with an emphasis on exclusive seller representation. Ben provides his clients access to the largest pool of qualified investors nationally and internationally, creating maximum exposure for their properties and a competitive bidding environment. Ben is committed to the highest level of client service, direct involvement in every transaction and superior underwriting.

Since joining the firm in 2013, Ben has been involved in transacting the sales of 47 properties in excess of $100,000,000. Example property types include grocery anchored centers, unanchored retail properties, a variety of net lease properties including tenants such as Dollar General,  Starbucks, National Tire & Battery, Title Max, Porter Paints, Sherwin Williams, and FastMed Urgent Care, as well as several redevelopment and development properties. He has worked with buyers and sellers from around the country and produced results through leveraging the nation’s largest investment sales platform. As a member of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group, Ben delivers real time information to his clients about retail market conditions and the best ways to capitalize on forward-looking trends.
Ben is a graduate of Miami University, a member of the International Council of Shopping Center, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in South Carolina.
