Overview

Barbara Dansker joined Marcus & Millichap in December 2009 after retiring from a successful 15 year career as the founder and proprietor of a very well-known, Upper East Side children’s emporium which continues to thrive today. Barbara quickly gained success as an agent achieving the firm’s 2010 New York Rookie of the Year Award. In addition she achieved the following, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 Sales Achievement Award along with the National Achievement Award in 2012 and again 2014. Specializing in the sale of Multifamily and Mixed-Use properties located in Downtown Manhattan, she has completed the marketing and sale of 52 properties. In July of 2016, Barbara has been promoted to Vice President of Investments. Barbara concentrates on building sales in the following neighborhoods: West Village, SoHo, NoHo, Nolita, Little Italy, Chinatown, East Village, Lower East Side, Murray Hill, Gramercy Park, Kips Bay, Midtown East, Midtown West and Chelsea. Barbara has also worked with a number of banks selling performing and nonperforming mortgage loans in the NY Metro area and nationwide.

Investment Associate

Zachary Ziskin graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Business Administration. Zack was raised with an exposure to Real Estate with his family owning several commercial properties in Queens and Brooklyn. By working with his father in operating the buildings for many years, he gained firsthand insight into the many facets of Real Estate including building mechanics, operations, tax implications, tenant relations and financing alternatives. Zack joined Marcus & Millichap in 2011, focusing as a specialist in the sales and underwriting of Mixed-Use and Multifamily property in the East Village, West Village and Soho. Upon completing his training, he earned the Pace Setter Award given to agents who meet a high standard of performance during their first four months after training. In his spare time, Zack enjoys skiing, rock climbing, and tennis. Zack's tenacity, diligence and business savvy, make him an invaluable asset to the Dansker Team.
