Scott Edelstein began his career in real estate at the age of 19, selling residential property in order to pay for college. After graduating from California State University, Northridge, Scott continued his quest for knowledge - earning a Master’s degree from Northwestern University. At Marcus & Millichap, he focused that expertise and energy on the Manhattan Investment Sales market and he continues to be one of the most active mixed-use and multi-family experts in the borough.
Year after year, Scott’s commitment and creativity have made him a top producer in the Manhattan office. His tenacity and attention to detail have repeatedly benefitted his clients by garnering market making sale prices. One of his most notable recent transactions – a $33,000,000 note sale (secured by a historic Upper East Side mansion) was consummated just hours before the public auction.
As a member of Marcus & Millichap’s Special Asset Services group, Scott continues to devise and execute innovative solutions that bring about the best possible outcomes for those clients who face challenging circumstances.
Away from the office, Scott enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife and their two young boys. He is an avid photographer and our resident technology expert. He currently resides on the Upper West Side
