Mike has quickly emerged as one of the most dominant single tenant net leased agents by knowing inside and all of the nuances that make up the net leased industry. He has in depth knowledge of every major metro market throughout the United States, and stays up to date on pertinent information that would affect net leased values such as market specific cap rates, tenant credit, available financing, industry trends, etc. Mike is a Associate Director in Marcus & Millichap’s National Net Leased Properties Group.

The combination of Mike’s financial expertise and an intense work ethic has quickly made him one of the most active single tenant agents in the country. Mike closed thirteen single tenant transactions in the first six months of 2011, which the tenant roster including McDonalds, Walgreens, CVS, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr., 7-Eleven along with many others.
With an emphasis on exclusive seller representation and a marketing concept that centers on the creation of competition amongst buyers, Mike is able to consistently achieve client’s goals. Mike has significant experience working with many different types of investors and has shown the uncanny ability to create markets across buyer pools. He has successfully closed both individual and portfolio transactions with REITS, pension funds, private equity firms, public-private partnerships and private clients. Mike understands the importance of gauging the client’s level of sophistication and tailoring his interactions accordingly. He believes this is a key aspect in the development of positive long term relationships with clients.
Prior to working with Marcus & Millichap Mike attended Chapman University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business with a finance emphasis. Mike served as the team captain for the Chapman football team all three years of attendance. Also while attending Chapman, Mike worked with one of Barons Magazines Top 100 Wealth Managers at Morgan Stanly and effectively brought over thirteen million dollars in new accounts during his senior year. Mike is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and also is involved in formulating Business Strategy for the National Net Leased Properties Group, as well as assisting in updating the Marcus & Millichap new agent training manual.
