Michael J. Christie joined Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago office shortly after it opened in 1988. His specialty is retail and net-leased investment properties. Over his brokerage career Mr. Christie has closed in excess of $750 Million in investment real estate sales; major clients include: Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. (Freddie Mac); AMLI Realty; Washington Mutual Bank, The Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC); Firstar Bank; Alex Brown & Sons; and PM Realty Advisors. His closings
include over 4,500 apartment units and 4 million square feet of commercial space.

Community service activities include the Board of Trustees for The Science & Arts Academy, a
not-for-profit, independent school, Children’s Home & Aid Society, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts of America, and as a host family each summer for the Irish Children’s Fund, a non-denominational group that promotes peace for Northern Ireland Protestants and Catholics.

Mr. Christie began his real estate career in 1974 in Orlando, Florida in Property Management.
He resides with his wife and five children in Park Ridge, Illinois.
