Specializing in commercial building sales, Kailin Zhu rejoined Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan Office in May, 2009.

Having been in investment sales for nearly a decade, Ms. Zhu has had extensive experience in the development of luxury condominium and hospitality assets as well as the sale of multifamily, office, retail properties. From the Lower East Side, to Midtown West and to the heart of Harlem, she has contributed to the addition of an aggregate of some 400,000 square feet of new developments to New York’s skyline. Ms. Zhu was with Besen & Associates from 2004 – 2009.

Ms. Zhu joined CAREA, Chinese American Real Estate Association, in summer of 2008, the Board of Directors in 2010 and served as its Secretary since September 2010. She has been elected Vice President for the 2012 – 2014 term.

Additionally, Ms. Zhu also serves on the Chinese-American Planning Council’s Project Development Committee.

Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Ms. Zhu immigrated to New York with her family in the early 1980’s and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese; Cantonese and Shanghai dialects. Ms. Zhu holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science.
