Josh Luchs is a skilled negotiator with over twenty years of experience. Luchs joined the Encino office of Marcus & Millichap as an agent in June of 2008 and has quickly become one of the area’s top producers.
Specializing in the marketing and sales of multi-family apartment buildings in the San Fernando Valley, Luchs has been successful listing properties beyond just Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys and the neighboring communities.
In addition, Luchs has successfully orchestrated the purchases of numerous single tenant triple net deals across the United States. In doing so, he has provided many long time owners an alternative to apartment ownership by identifying deals that can offer increased cash flow while reducing management responsibilities.
Luchs has achieved numerous awards and distinctions including his most recent, a 2011 SRA (sales recognition award) and has served as a member of the Encino Neighborhood council.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Luchs worked as a Sports Agent for nearly two decades last serving as Vice President of the sports division at the prestigious Gersh Agency using his marketing and negotiating skills to benefit some of the most recognizable names in sports. Luchs has been featured in numerous national publications and has appeared in countless radio and television interviews. Luchs is a published author and has spoken before the California Senate and the US Congress advancing legislation aimed at protecting student athletes.
Mr. Luchs currently lives in Encino CA with his wife Jennifer and two young daughters Sophie and Sydney.
