James Medefind specializes in multi-tenant retail properties in the Southwest Florida market and single-tenant, net-leased properties across the country. Mr. Medefind believes local market knowledge is instrumental when selling investment real estate. In order to become an expert in the local market and maximize value for his clients, he regularly contacts local leasing agents, brokers and organizations. His ability to foresee potential pitfalls throughout the sales process, combined with the firm's national platform, also allows him to help his clients maximize the value of their investment.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Medefind worked as a consultant to various local, state and federal government agencies for eminent domain projects. He was responsible for the acquisition of residential and commercial properties, as well as the relocation of families and businesses whose property was being acquired through eminent domain.
Mr. Medefind is a graduate of Florida State University with dual degrees in real estate and entrepreneurship/small business management. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, playing tennis, and volunteering for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Pinellas County, The Clearwater Community Sailing Center and Metropolitian Ministries.
