Daniel J. Cunningham

Daniel J. Cunningham serves as Senior Managing Director Investments at Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale Office, where he has specialized in the multifamily sector for over 18 years. His team's primary focus is the South Florida market where they have successfully closed more than 600 transactions, resulting in over $1 billion in sales. Mr. Cunningham's primary goal is to provide private capital clients with institutional quality representation and individual, goal-oriented advisory services.

Daniel is a Director in the Multi-Housing Division and a member of the Special Asset Services Division. Mr. Cunningham has been awarded three National Achievement Awards, eight Sales Recognition Awards, and a Mentor of the Year Award. In additional to his many Marcus & Millichap accolades, Daniel has been recognized as a leading regional broker by earning multiple CoStar "Power Broker" Awards.

Daniel's business is built on the principles of dedication, communication, determination, and trust. Mr. Cunningham strives to cater and adapt to all of his clients' individual needs, "just as the real estate industry evolves to become more innovative and efficient, so do I".

As a mentor, decorated combat veteran, and an avid water sports enthusiast, he believes: "if you work hard, you can play hard". Prior to entering real estate, he served his country in the United States Army Airborne Infantry with multiple tours in Panama, Iraq and Kuwait. These experiences instilled in him the discipline it takes to build one of the most powerful commercial real estate teams in Florida.
