Dan graduated from Arizona State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. While working his way through college, he leased and managed multiple 200 plus unit multifamily communities. Although an achievement in itself, this accomplishment was magnified by what was historically marked as a challenging time for the commercial real estate industry due to the disposition activity of Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). Following graduation, Dan managed commercial property and served as the Director of Multifamily Operations for Sevo Miller Inc, a sizeable, successful commercial brokerage and property management firm based in Denver, Colorado. During his leadership tenure, he was responsible for the financial operation of over 13,000 multifamily units across eight states which represented well over a half-billion dollars in investment real estate.

His excellence in leadership extended well beyond his responsibilities. Shortly after joining the Phoenix office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Service in 2000, Dan's colleagues further recognized his leadership and drive for excellence and promoted him to the multifamily sales team. Dan has since closed over 100 million dollars in investment transactions earning him numerous production and achievement awards with Marcus & Millichap, including their coveted Sales Achievement Award and National Achievement Award for outstanding sales performance.

A professional in his field, Dan has authored numerous articles and books on both Commercial Real Estate Technology and Investments. Additionally, he has taught and lectured thousands of commercial agents worldwide via live internet presentations and on-site seminars.

Dan's credentials and accomplishments include the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), past membership with the Arizona Multi-housing Association (AMA) and a financial contributor to the National Multi-housing Council Political Action Committee. Dan not only supports but is also active in many community outreach and charitable organizations, which include the American Red Cross, the Boys & Girls Club, St. Vincent de Paul, Brokers for Kids, the Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Botanical Gardens and the Phoenix Zoo.
