Dan Burkons holds the title of Vice President of Investments with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, and serves as a Senior Director within its National Multi-Housing Group as well as a member of the National Self-Storage Group. One of the three founding agents of the firm's Cleveland office in 2003, he has been a consistent leader in multifamily investment sales in the Midwestern United States brokerage community for the past 9 years. During his career, Mr. Burkons has closed transactions totalling in excess of half a billion dollars, including more than $349,293,302 worth of multifamily and self storage properties since 2008. With a focus on Allegheny, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit Counties, he proudly counts several of the largest apartment owners in Ohio and Pennsylvania among his clients, many of whom he is proud to have represented on multiple occasions over the years.

In addition to his work in the Cleveland area, Mr. Burkons has successfully represented owners in complex transactions throughout the Midwest, as well as in Texas and South Carolina. Having led teams of agents on multi-state marketing campaigns for portfolios of as many as 25 properties at a time, he has proven adept at designing the most efficient and effective tailor-made strategies to maximize value for his Sellers. In his work as a Buyer's representative, Mr. Burkons has orchestrated a client's purchase of six retail properties across three states within the strict guidelines of a 1031 exchange, and in 2010 alone has sought out and closed more than $50M of unlisted, off-market multifamily properties on behalf of clients seeking to grow their holdings.
