Christopher R Sjurset started his career in real estate as a retail leasing agent in New York before joining Marcus & Millichap in 2006. During his first year, he sold over $35 Million worth of real estate assets earning him Marcus & Millichap’ s "Rookie of the Year" award. On several occasions he has produced record setting numbers on rent stabilized buildings and development sites in Midtown and the Upper East Side. Christopher’s uniqueness to partner with his clients and add value through his advisory services has been a major attribute to his success in real estate.
Christopher graduated from Towson University with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Computer Science. In college, he served as the treasurer for his fraternity chapter Kappa Sigma. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher worked as a software development consultant in the financial services industry working with clients such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Deutsche Bank. He also ran a very successful Information Technology firm headquartered on Long Island.
Born and raised on Long Island, he currently resides in the West Village. In his free time he enjoys travelling, playing golf, soccer, and participating in various intramural sports leagues.
