Brandon Michaels is a Vice President of Investments at Marcus & Millichap’s Encino, California office. Since joining the firm originally in 2004, he has established himself as one of the top producer’s in Multi-Tenant Retail Centers, Retail Properties, and Single Tenant Properties in the entire country.
Brandon has successfully closed over 150 commercial real estate transactions totaling in excess of $500,000,000. Brandon's average of successful closings is within 95% of the original list price. He is able to achieve such outstanding results as a result of the detailed analysis performed during the underwriting process, the detailed and aggressive marketing plan and platform he has created, and his ability to negotiate on behalf of his clients.
Brandon graduated from the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Marshall School of Business.
His extensive role as a real estate broker as well as investor has educated him on all aspects of the commercial real estate field. His vast experiences have allowed him to play an active role in the marketing, negotiating, financing, legality, management, leasing, and sales aspects of commercial real estate, all of which makes him extremely knowledgeable and professional within the investment real estate industry.
He has lived in Southern California his entire life and has an in depth understanding of the varying regions and nuances associated with each specific market.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a Director of the firm's National Retail Group.
In 2011, he was ranked 1st in the firm nationwide in sales for multi-tenant retail properties, earning the Gold Sales Achievement Award and National Achievement Award. He was voted Top Overall Negotiator by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal as well as Retail Broker of the Year by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
In 2010, he was ranked 3rd in the firm nationwide in sales for multi-tenant retail properties, earning the Gold Sales Achievement Award and the National Achievement Award.
In 2009, he was ranked 1st in the firm nationwide in sales for multi-tenant retail properties, earning the Gold Sales Achievement Award. He was also voted Top Commercial Real Estate Brokers by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
In 2008, he was ranked 5th in the firm nationwide in sales for multi-tenant retail properties, earning the Gold Sales Achievement Award and National Achievement Award.
In 2007, he was ranked 8th in the firm nationwide in sales for multi-tenant retail properties, earning the Gold Sales Achievement Award and National Achievement Award.
In 2005 and 2006, he earned the Gold Sales Achievement Award. In each instance, the firm recognizes extraordinary performance in sales performance companywide. He became a member of the prestigious Seven Figure Club in 2007.
