Meet Other Agents

Versatile, analytical, resourceful and responsible, Adelaide Polsinelli has been selling real estate since 1985. After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology, Adelaide was responsible for sales and marketing for a textile converter. Soon after, she joined Century 21 Goldbenc, Inc. where in one year she sold over $2,000,000 in condos, co-ops and single-family homes throughout Manhattan. She continued towards her degree in Finance and Real Estate at New York University, attending classes at night. As her career progressed, Ms. Polsinelli joined a small commercial real estate firm where she specialized in the sale of investment grade real estate, investment analysis and market research. Ms. Polsinelli also took on many roles including negotiator, manager, and executor of sale transactions. In her 26 years of such extensive experience as one of New York City’s most active real estate brokers, Adelaide Polsinelli has had an impeccable track record of consistently selling real estate and providing exceptional service to her clients.

During her illustrious career in real estate sales, she has sold over 800 properties, totaling over $4 billion in sales, in every asset class from multi-family, retail and office to SRO’s, IMD’s, unsold shares, retail condos, loans, note sales, hotels, development and garages. Some of Polsinelli’s noteworthy transactions include: The “Children’s Wear” office building in Midtown, The “Stefano Ricci” retail flagship on Park Avenue, the famed “Knitting Factory” building in Tribeca, the “Le Figaro Café” building on Bleecker Street, the “Interior Design Building” in Midtown East, the former “Chemist Club” which is now the “Dylan Hotel” on 41st Street, a 10-building/multi-family package in Astoria, a 9-building package of townhouses in Chelsea, several prominent Upper West Side hotels, the development site now known as “Eastbridge Landing” at First Avenue and 34th Street, and the “State Tower” office building in Syracuse, which she sold twice. Polsinelli is also credited with a $200 million hotel development on Broadway in midtown. Polsinelli has recently sold several notes for lenders as well as bank REO’s. Challenging times call for out of the box thinking which is where Polsinelli’s long standing industry relationships and experience are best utilized. Her last few deals involved leasing to schools and garages where a sale was not a viable option.

With her expertise in development and her value-added approach to traditional investment scenarios, Ms. Polsinelli has mastered the art of building lucrative portfolios for her clients. In addition to creating valuable components to our city’s infrastructure, she has brought relief to tenants in need of help by finding sympathetic ownership. An innovative problem-solver and a tenacious, yet diplomatic negotiator, Ms. Polsinelli has proven her talents as a commercial brokerage All-Star. In her successful run as a broker Ms. Polsinelli has also been a noted speaker for a variety of functions and panels.

Ms. Polsinelli is as busy in her personal life as her professional one. As a wife and mother of three boys, Ms. Polsinelli is also the president of the Parent’s Association at St. George Elementary School and organizes an annual toy drive for a children’s charity. Most notably she has served as President of 2 Fifth Avenue since 2000, a 350-unit co-op building. She also founded the Council of Board Presidents of Greenwich Village. Additionally, Ms. Polsinelli is on the board of directors of both the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America and the St. George Foundation.

Since 1998, Ms. Polsinelli has been writing for the Mann report: authoring “Ask Adelaide” and “The Polsinelli Pulse” on a monthly basis. She is also a contributing writer and speaker for several other publications and organizations including The Real Estate Weekly.
