Tim Kinney is a Senior Director of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), which closed over $1.7 Billion in commercial real estate financing in 2011. Based in Atlanta, he is responsible for overseeing loan originations for the company's offices in the Southeast and is one of the top producers in the country. Mr. Kinney brings a great depth of knowledge in structured finance for retail, multi-family, office, industrial, self storage and other special purpose properties. He has extensive experience in the capital markets, having worked at Smith Barney and Montgomery Securities in both institutional and fixed income sales. Mr. Kinney previously served as Vice President of BMC Capital and began his sales career as a Marketing Representative with IBM Corporation in the General Systems Division. Mr. Kinney is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He is married with two children and lives in Marietta, GA.
