Steve Chaben is a managing director and the regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit and Grand Rapids offices. Mr. Chaben also serves as the Eastern U.S. director of the firm’s National Office and Industrial Properties Group. He joined the firm in 1997 as a regional manager and was charged with establishing the Detroit office and sales force. Since the start of the Detroit office, Mr. Chaben has overseen more than 1,100 transactions valued at $5.1 billion. He was named vice president of the firm in 2000, became first vice president in 2004 and elected as a managing director in 2009. Mr. Chaben is a graduate of Wayne State University and received a Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law.
