Gary Lucas is a senior vice president and managing director based in Marcus & Millichap’s San Francisco office. He has for the past decade overseen operations of regional offices and in 1995 undertook the task of directing the firm’s mid-market expansion. He is the director of the National Seniors Housing Group. Mr. Lucas joined the company in 1985 as an agent in San Francisco and was named the regional manager in 1986. In 1990 he was appointed senior regional manager and was named to the first vice president post in 1993. He was elected a managing director of the firm in 1994. Mr. Lucas studied biochemistry at Harvard College.
