Mr. Pontius is the managing director of the National Office and Industrial Properties Group (NOIPG). In this role he also directs the firm's Healthcare Real Estate Group and serves as co-director of the firm's Net Leased Properties Group (NLPG). His career with Marcus & Millichap began as a sales associate in 1985, and in this capacity he consistently ranked among the firm's Top 25 associates. In 1993 he was appointed regional manager of the Palo Alto office. Mr. Pontius was promoted to senior vice president in 2000 and assumed his current role in 2002. His industry trade affiliations include NAIOP and ULI where he is regularly called upon to present on US real estate investment trends.
